PORTRAIT SESSION Opportunities
MULTIPLE OPTIONS FOR CAPTURING YOUR PET’S IMAGES

Outdoor and in-home sessions are great for capturing images of your furry friend doing what he or she does best: entertaining you!
Outdoors

- many other places around town!
We can also photograph your pets in your home and/or yard.
On-Location sessions work best during the early morning or evening hours.
They typically last 1-2 hours.
SESSION FEE: $250
In-Studio sessions are great for creating a wide variety of formal, dramatic, costumed, and/or posed portraits of your four-legged friend.
STUDIO
Our one-of-a-kind mobile studio is outfitted as a full-service photography studio on wheels! It contains a wide variety of props, backdrops, and cool lighting, so that we can be creative while designing your pet’s portraits. I will capture those endearing head tilts and their happy expressions while you help wrangle them into place.
In-Studio sessions can be scheduled any time of the day.
They typically last about 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Special Projects are for implementing those fun, creative ideas that you may have for turning your pet into a star!
Special Projects
As an expert in Photoshop, I love turning creative ideas into one-of-a-kind artwork.
Special projects can involve many different elements, such as one or more photo sessions, custom-made props, possible vendor research, and most of all, my Master Photoshop skills that I've developed over two decades of work.
Projects can take up to 4 weeks to build, and possibly longer if we have to convince a product vendor to take on our grand idea! Just kidding. There are lots of product vendors out there -- I'm sure we can find one to work with us!

We’ll also discuss your decorating style and preferred color palette. We want to make sure that we intentionally create images that you will love forever!
After this conversation, you can send me photos of the rooms in your home, so that we can determine the dimensions for the artwork we create.
We’ll get to know each other during our pre-session conversation. You’ll tell me all about your pet(s) — what they do that makes you laugh, what activities they like, etc. — and about any other family members you would like to include in the portraits.
Most importantly, we’ll talk about how you plan to use the images we create. Would you like to create a collection of images for your living room, den, or bedroom? Maybe an album for your coffee table? Perhaps some artwork for your office? How about gift ideas for your relatives?
We Chat
For the most part, I will be directing you to walk your pet to the best place for each photo setting. Once I’m ready with the camera, I’ll request that I be the only one talking to your pet so that I can capture him/her looking straight into the camera.
With these simple techniques, plus a few more we’ll use if needed, we will capture soulful, genuine, relaxed images of your pet in beautiful settings.
This is the fun part! We’ll meet at our designated location to create a set of images using different lighting, backgrounds, poses, etc.
I will need your help handling your pet so that we can get the best images possible. Leashes are no problem — I will use Photoshop to remove them from the final photos.
During the session, it’s important to let your dog (or cat, or iguana, etc.) behave the way that he/she normally does. It’s helpful if they know some commands, but we want them to be as relaxed as possible.
We Play
I will edit only a few of these selected images to remove leashes, extraneous spots, etc., so that you can envision the final look.
After you choose your favorite images, I will edit them in the same manner.
I fiddle with the images, choosing the best ones. You fiddle at home, wondering how the images turned out.
It can take up to 2 weeks to go through all the images and identify the best ones. I look for great expressions, relaxed body postures, excellent lighting, and nice focus during this process. I also play with different cropping to bring out the best features of each image.
Generally, I will select the top 20+ photos of the highest quality during this process.
We Fiddle
I’ll then show you the product choices, and make recommendations for styles and sizes that will look best in each setting.
At the end of our meeting, we’ll create an order for your products!
When the best photos are ready, we’ll schedule a review of your images. This can take place either as a Zoom video call, in your home, or at an agreed-upon location. I will send you a link to an online gallery for you to login and see your images.
During this review, we’ll look at all of the images and identify your favorites. Once you decide your favorites, we’ll talk about where and how you’d like to display each image, and if there are any specific edits you would like me to make.

Your artwork will arrive some time between 2 and 4 weeks after ordering. It will be shipped to my studio, and I will make sure it is exactly what we ordered.
We’ll then make a plan to unveil your products for you!
